BUSY, BUSY, BUSY…

I’m taking a respite from my busy finals week projects so that I can deliver my faithful & amazing viewers this wonderfully detailed weather update. 😉  Plus I have an early look at what to expect during Spring Break!  🙂

AAA March forecast

Day by day details

Tuesday:  Sunny and dry, but a chilly start to the day.  Winter is trying to hold on with these chilly mornings.

Wednesday:  Dry early morning, but showers will quickly move in for the remainder of the day.

Thursday:  Rain turning to showers, breezy & chilly.  Some showers could be heavy.

Friday & Saturday:  Lots of very cold showers with hail, rumbles of thunder, and even a few wet snowflakes likely both days.  Morning temps will only be in the mid 30s and daytime highs will not make it past the upper 40s.  Very cold for this time of year!!

Sunday:  Dry, but a cold start to the day.

Spring Break

Spring Break Forecast

I feel pretty confident that Friday the 30th through Easter Sunday should be on the dryer and milder side which is good news for anyone wanting to participate in outdoor plans that weekend!!  Some rain is still possible, but I don’t see any signs at all of a big rainstorm or washout.  I’ve never tried forecasting this far ahead on here, so we will see how this goes… 😉 Subject to change of course.

Have a great week and stay tuned for more updates on this week’s incoming storms!!!

A busy week ahead!!

No fancy graphic tonight, but here’s a beautifully written forecast with the details you need to know for our week ahead 😉

Sunday:  Lots of clouds around with showers.  Some will be very heavy with hail possible and maybe a rumble of thunder.  Highs in the mid 50s.

Monday & Tuesday:  Dry.  Lots of sunshine and a few clouds from time to time.  Highs in the upper 50s Monday and getting close to 60 degrees by Tuesday.

Wednesday:  Rainy with temps in the 50s.

Thursday:  More rain, heavy at times with temps in the 40s.

Friday & Saturday:  Very chilly with lots of showers.  Hail and a rumble of thunder look possible.  Highs not making it out of the 40s.

Sunday:  Frosty morning with lows right around freezing, dry and “warming up” into the 50s.

The Ides of March

LOL.  I only know about the Ides of March cause the radio plays a song of theirs (something about a vehicle), and I thought it was cleaver of me to mention it today 😉 But instead of a picture of the band, I thought we might all enjoy this sunrise picture better as I’m always keeping an eye out for a good sunrise (or sunset).

Okay, forecast time, here’s the next 6 days with details below.

More typical March weather

Thursday:  Our “wettest” day, but even so, it won’t be an all day washout, just a few pesky showers moving up the valley during the later P.M. hours.

Friday & Saturday:  Mostly dry both day with only a few showers each day.  Just enough to keep those two days from being totally dry :/  A very typical spring pattern here in western Oregon.  Highs in the mid 50s.

Sunday – Tuesday:  Drier and milder with highs getting closer to 60 again.

It is still March, which means mornings can & will be chilly.  Each morning will start out in the mid to upper 30s these next 6 days.

Quick update to forecast.  I’ve just reviewed some of those nerdy maps and charts I enjoy analyzing, and two things pop out at me.

  1. Some of the showers Thursday afternoon could be quite heavy.  Heavier than I alluded to.
  2. A couple showers seem likely Sunday afternoon/evening; however, most of the day will remain dry, so don’t cancel all your outdoor plans or anything crazy like that.  It just won’t be 100% dry like the graphic above shows.

Have a great day!!

March 12th Update

Week three of March 2018

A pretty typical spring forecast right here.

Very sunny and mild Monday

Rainy Tuesday

Lots of clouds, sunbreaks, and just the smallest threat of a light shower Wednesday through Friday.

Saturday could have a few more showers; although at this point they look to be wimpy at best, so not a washout by any means.

Sunday the 19th looks mostly dry with a few showers.

Enjoy your week!!

Middle of the night update

Nothing quite like finishing school projects right before the stroke of midnight.  Now that I have those off my plate let’s take a look at the forecast.

Considering how late it is and how tired I am, I think there’s really only two main messages you need to know.

First:  Thursday is going to be rainy and windy most of the day, especially the first half of the day.  Friday will have some showers around also.

Second main message:  Saturday through Monday look amazing for this time of year.  Temps will have no problem getting into the 60s each afternoo!!  Woo hoo!! It’s going to be a fantastic weekend weather wise!!

Third message:  because I care for you all so much. 😉😂  Rain returns next Tuesday afternoon.

Busy week update

Amidst a very week with school projects coming out my ears I can only do a fast update with no super fancy pictures or graphics.  So, here’s what you need to know:

Wednesday:  One more mild and dry day with increasing clouds and a chance for a sprinkle by nightfall.

Thursday:  Rainy much of the day and breezy at times.

Friday:  Lingering showers, but drying out as the day goes on.

Best news of all…

A dry and mild weekend with highs getting up to the upper 50s to low 60s!!

So enjoy your weekend!!!

Monday:  Looks to stay dry and mild before rain arrives next Tuesday.
