Winter is coming ;)
The low temp in Salem this morning was 25!!! That’s the coldest since December and it’s going to get even colder…

Highlights
A very chilly rain overnight through Wednesday morning.
More dry than wet Thursday and Friday.
Wet on Saturday.
Sunday: Rain and snow showers during much of the day transitioning into snow showers by evening. Turning colder.
Those of you who live down in Eugene and Springfield also have a shot of snow by Sunday afternoon 😉
Lots can change between now and then so stay tuned for the latest. At this point in time here’s what I’m thinking.
Very likely
Snow in the air for everyone Sunday.
Snow in the hills around town.
Very cold next week.
Still up in the air
Snow on the valley floor and how much.
How cold it will get.
More snow chances and even colder weather after Sunday.
The week ahead

Highlights
Lots of frosty mornings this week.
The rest of Presidents’ Day weekend looks very cool and wet.
Dry mountains
Unfortunately our mountains look to remain pretty dry the next 8 days.
Light snow Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon.
Clear travel conditions all other days.
Cool & dry
Our beautiful mild winter weather is leaving us and it’s back to more typical early/mid February temperatures with highs in the upper 40s to low 50s the next 8 days. I’m leaving for Washington Family Ranch (pictured above) with our youth group for the weekend. Should be an amazing time, and hopefully my super accurate forecast will last you all just fine until I return 😉 🙂

Only wet period will be Sunday afternoon through Monday morning.
Chilly mornings these next several days.
Still very dry overall.
Big changes coming next weekend, but more on those when I return…
