Another week of 90s

The title just about says it all.  Sunday will kick off a 7 plus day stretch of high temps in the 90s.  This means the warm nights will return with lows staying in the 60 -67 degree range, so good luck staying cool this week … :/

Cascade Range and Central Oregon

Sunny & hot with no chance for thunderstorms in sight which is very good news for the wildfire threat.  This is also good news if you have recreational plans as it will stay high and dry for you.

June Heat

June heat

Highlights

Saturday: Sunny & mild.  Keep an eye to the sky, especially my friends who live on the east side of the valley as there is a very slight chance of a thundershower passing near by; otherwise a very nice day.

Sunday – Thursday;  Very warm & dry.

Up in the Cascades/Central Oregon

Saturday & Sunday:  Thunderstorms likely through Sunday night.

Monday – Thursday:  Dry through Wednesday morning.  Small chance for thunderstorms returns Wednesday afternoon – Thursday.

Enjoy the nice weather 🙂

Stormy east side

Areas to the east of the Cascades have a fairly high chance of seeing thunderstorms Wednesday through Saturday evening.  Keep that in mind if your travels take you over there as there could likely be a good soaking rain those days.

As for the Cascades themselves, thunderstorms look most likely closer to the crest of the Cascades.  Places like Detroit Lake should stay storm free with only a light shower or two possible.

Sunday will kick off a nice dry stretch for both Central Oregon and the Cascade Range.

The coast will see a bit of drizzle Thursday morning and much of the day Saturday.  The rest of the weekend and into next week should be dry.

The Cascades & Central Oregon

We have an active week ahead for the Cascades & Central Oregon region with showers and thunderstorms possible on several upcoming days.   Here are the important details 🙂

Tuesday evening – Thursday:  Thunderstorms & showers fairly widespread during this time period.

Friday & Saturday:  Mostly dry & mild (best days of the week for outdoor activities).

Sunday & Monday:  More showers & thunderstorms likely.
