Lots of rain, cool.
Rainy (heavy at times) every single day this week. Wednesday and Thursday we have a chance for a rumble of thunder and hail with the heavier showers. I left a couple little snowflakes in there for the lucky few who live higher up. For the rest of us I’m keeping my original forecast of no sticking snow here in the city. All we get is chilly rain for the rest of the week.
Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon look to be the best chance for dry weather.
Wet and cool

A lot of rain and mountain snow this week. My thoughts on Thursday and Friday have not changed much except that I’m becoming increasingly confident we will not see sticking snow here in town. Only a few slushy snowflakes mixed in with the nasty cold rain 😦
Plenty of snow in the mountains and foothills.
Weekend update
Snowy passes

-
Snowy every day this upcoming week with 24 – 30 more inches of snow by this time next weekend!!
-
Snow in the Coast Range next Thursday through Saturday.
Saturday morning update

If you’re looking for a dry day then today (Saturday) is your best bet for a while, and even today we have a chance for a few sprinkles 😦 Lots of rain, showers, and wind at times Sunday through the rest of next week.
Snow next week?
MAYBE…
WHEN?? Next Thursday through Saturday (Jan 25th – 27th).
What’s most likely to happen?? Snow falling in the air. The snow is probably not going to accumulate unless you are one of the few people who live “up high” in the hills outside of town.
What’s not very likely?? A snow day. Unfortunately, it’s just not going to be cold enough to give us a snowy day off from school or work.
Things can change: At this point I don’t see any snow days coming our way, but that does not mean it can’t change… I will keep you all in the know as we get closer.
Rainy days and cooler weather

Looking Ahead
Starting next Thursday (the 25th) some much cooler air will be coming into Oregon. There’s still plenty of time for things to change between now and then, so I’m not quite ready to go “all in” and predict snow yet… 😉 However, you can bet I’ll have more updates for you as I receive new information!!
Stormy day ahead!!!
Heavy rain, maybe some hail, and a clap of thunder are all possible today and Friday.
