June Heat

June heat

Highlights

Saturday: Sunny & mild.  Keep an eye to the sky, especially my friends who live on the east side of the valley as there is a very slight chance of a thundershower passing near by; otherwise a very nice day.

Sunday – Thursday;  Very warm & dry.

Up in the Cascades/Central Oregon

Saturday & Sunday:  Thunderstorms likely through Sunday night.

Monday – Thursday:  Dry through Wednesday morning.  Small chance for thunderstorms returns Wednesday afternoon – Thursday.

Enjoy the nice weather 🙂

June 11th update

That was a wet weekend we just went through.  The rainfall total from Sunday alone was more than what we got in the entire month of May!!!

Moving on I see another chance for some very light rain both Wednesday & Thursday; although Thursday’s light rain should stay up north closer to the Portland area, but still a couple more cool days on the way.

Big changes coming around Father’s Day.  We have the warmest weather of the year coming next week with highs in the mid 90s possible next Monday through Wednesday.

New work week forecast

Only other thing I wish to mention is the slight chance for a thunderstorm Saturday evening.  As usual it’s only a small chance, but a big enough chance that I figured I would toss it in here.

Rainy weekend up ahead.

June 7th update

Highlights & Details

Friday:  Dry until dinner time.  Expect a rainy evening.

Saturday:  A stormy day with thundershowers & hail possible along with gusty winds at times.

Sunday:  More showers.

Monday:  A few very light showers.  Overall a much drier day.

Tuesday & Wednesday:  Sunny and warm.

Thursday:  A few showers throughout the day.

Father’s Day:  Still looking dry as far as I can tell.

June 5th update

We have some very mild and sunny days on tap, a good soaking rain this weekend, and then a big warm up as we head towards Father’s Day.

June Forecast 6.5.18

Extra Details

Sunny & dry through Friday afternoon.

Friday evening:  Rain moves in and should fall through the night into Saturday morning.

Saturday:  Heavy showers likely with thundershowers possible all across the region.

Sunday:  Similar to Saturday, but the showers should come to a quick end during the evening as we dry out.

Rest of next week:  Looks dry & sunny with highs getting back into the 80s.

A Bryan Weather Alert Special 😉

I can say with high confidence that Father’s Day weekend is looking sunny, warm, and dry!!

Warming back up.

We finally got some rain yesterday here in the Willamette Valley after going nearly 3 weeks with no rain at all.  A pretty impressive dry streak for May.

Looking ahead I see a chance for another shower or two late in the day Sunday & on Monday; otherwise the forecast is looking warmer with lots of sunshine today, tomorrow, and much of next week.

June Forecast 1

Even cooler

I made some small adjustments to the forecast:

1.)  Lowered temperatures a few degrees on several of the days.

2.)  Increased chances for some light showers Thursday, Sunday, and Monday.

It looks like the final day of May will end with a few showers around.  Additional light showers look possible Sunday evening & Monday, so we might finally break this dry streak; although these showers don’t look to be heavy or widespread at all and it’s possible that some of you will see nothing more than a few sprinkles.  With how dry it’s been lately I think we should take any rain we can get even if it’s real light.  😉

End of May 2.0

P.S.  Enjoy Saturday as we should have no problem getting into the mid to upper 70s that day 🙂

A cooler forecast.

We have some chilly mornings on tap the rest of this week with lows dipping into the 40s, but what we are still not seeing in the forecast is any sort of appreciable rain.  We have not had measurable rain in Salem since May 10th!!  That is quite the streak for what is typically a showery time of the year.  Yes, maybe a sprinkle or two Thursday, and may be a few sprinkles Monday; otherwise it looks like our long dry stretch is going to continue.
